Pucklechurch Cricket Club currently has three adult teams, an All Stars Cricket team for 5 to 8-year-olds and a Dynamo Cricket team for 9 to 11-year-olds. In addition, there is also a recently established ladies’ softball team.
The club is a hub for community activity as well as it provides children with a positive environment in which they will go on to learn and develop skills that they can use beyond football to handle life’s challenges.
Ryan Watts, 1st XI Captain at the cricket club said: “On behalf of everyone here, I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to everyone at Redrow for their donation.
“Fundraising for the club is always a challenge. We are therefore eternally grateful for Redrow’s ongoing support as it makes it possible for us to continually bring welfare to the area and a space for the community to gather.”
We also recently donated a defibrillator to the club which gives voice prompts and easy to understand visuals that guide the user through treating a patient who is suffering a cardiac arrest.
