The Alphington Primary School PFTA Community Shed is being used in many amazing ways to help the school community, including parents and families to combat rising costs. The shed is being used to house second-hand uniforms and dry foods, accessible to anyone who requires them. Transformed into a food bank for the local community, it is proving to be a brilliant asset in helping to alleviate costs.
Alphington School’s headteacher, Sharon Tarr, comments: “We are so grateful to have received this amazing shed. It has really boosted the livelihoods of our parents, staff, and children. We really can’t believe what the shed has managed to bring to the community!”
The collaboration between idverde, Alphington School, and ourselves is a highly successful reflection of our focus on fostering good relationships with local communities.
