Our South West division are currently building at Frenchay Park, on Frenchay Park Road, and we have donated 30 high visibility jackets to The Manor C of E Primary School as part of our Community Fund initiative.
The fund, which was launched earlier this year, provides local organisations with donations to help them thrive, with local causes encouraged to apply for their share of a £10,000 pot.
In recent years, conversations surrounding safety culture in schools have only continued to grow. High-visibility jackets are an essential tool for ensuring children’s safety when outside of the school grounds. From participating in sports events to walking near busy roads, high visibility jackets offer peace of mind to parents and teachers by making children easily identifiable.
Jessica Hughes, a teacher at The Manor C of E Primary School, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to receive Redrow South West’s donation. Something as simple as a high-visibility jacket has such a huge impact on a child’s safety. We can’t wait to put the jackets to use during school trips in the near future.”
Sian Smith, sales director for our South West division said: “We are delighted to have donated much-needed high visibility jackets to The Manor C of E Primary School. We are committed to building thriving communities within the local area and are proud to support the school in its commitment to safety. Our donation ensures children can continue to explore and participate in various outdoor activities within the community without any additional worries regarding their visibility. We love seeing the pictures of the children sporting their new jackets, we’re looking forward to hearing of their latest outdoor adventures.”
