Transport
Winchester lies close the M3, giving easy access to London in under an hour, as well as Southampton in 20 minutes and Portsmouth in just over half an hour. The A34 also brings Newbury and Oxford within easy reach. There are also regular bus services to and from Winchester from over 70 locations. The airport at Southampton is just 15 minutes drive away, while the drive to Heathrow or Gatwick is around an hour.
Winchester Station is just a short distance from Abbott’s Walk, with direct trains to London in under an hour. Ferries from Southampton and Portsmouth provide links to the continent at Santander, Bilbao, Le Havre and Cherbourg, as well as the Channel Islands and the Isle of Wight.
Shopping
The development is well served by the major supermarkets, with Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose all just a short drive away.
