Hereford Leisure Centre and Leisure Pool are both excellent facilities, and golfers can play around in the city at Hereford Municipal Golf Course, or choose from a number of challenging courses in the surrounding countryside. National Hunt racing will also be returning to the city in October 2016 after several years’ absence.

The city has a choice of theatres and cinemas, including a brand new Odeon digital cinema in the new Old Market complex. Naturally, you’ll also find a fascinating range of museums to explore, charting the history of Hereford, along with the famous cathedral itself.

Hereford is around 24 miles from both Worcester and Gloucester, where you can pick up the M5 heading north or south. The city has excellent road connections via the A438 and A49, which pass through the centre and connect to local towns and villages, as well as to the Welsh border just 16miles away. Birmingham is around 60miles to the north east.
Hereford station has regular services to Cardiff in an hour, Birmingham in an hour and a half and Worcester in around 40minutes.
