Cowbridge has an excellent selection of top class eateries, with Huddart’s (European) River View (Chinese), Beagles Country Kitchen and the Mughal Emperor (Asian) all highly recommended, along with friendly inns, such as the Red Fox, the Marketplace, the Hare and Hounds and the Carne Arms.

Colwinston may appear to be a remote village, but there is no shortage of things to do within easy reach. For a great day out, head for the fun of Barry Island, the beaches of Dunraven Bay and Traeth Beach, or the endless intriguing coves of the Gower Peninsula. The beauty of the Breacon Beacons can be found just a short drive to the north offering endless walking, climbing and other outdoor pursuits.

Trains from Bridgend Station connect to Cardiff in 21minutes and Swansea in 30 minutes and the station has over 100 spaces for park and ride commuters.
