Lymington is a busy, bustling town with plenty to see and do and renowned for its connection with the sea. The town is a famous sailing resort and Olympian Ben Ainslie is a resident. There are two large marinas, and sailing clubs including the Royal Lymington Yacht Club – arguably Britain’s premier yachting establishment. The Solent is a hugely popular sailing area while Poole, Christchurch and Yarmouth harbours are all nearby. For beach lovers many of the UK’s best sandy beaches are a short car or boat ride away including Bournemouth, Mudeford, Sandbanks, Studland and those on the Isle of Wight.
