Finish
Garage floors are finished in concrete. There may be minor imperfections to the floor and, over time, minor cracks can begin to occur as your garage and home dry out.
We recommend treating and / or painting your garage floor with an appropriate product to combat concrete dust.
Levels
Garage floors are usually not level and are mostly designed to have a slight fall to assist with combatting water ingress.
If water is pooling in any area of your garage due to the levels then let us know, ideally providing us with photographs.
Damp
Garages are not water tight. Detached garages are constructed with a single skin brickwork which means wind-driven rain can penetrate through the brickwork and cause the garage to become damp.
For this reason, we recommend that you do not store anything that could be damaged by water in your garage as this will not be covered by our warranty.
