Base & wall unit
Damaged
We check all of your kitchen units prior to you moving in.
Should you notice any damage, this should have been raised as part of your Home Preview or Courtesy Check.
Due to the porous materials used to make your kitchen, we advise that you do not leave any sitting water on your kitchen surfaces nor on unit drawers and doors. You must not use any abrasive cleaners and any wet surfaces should always be wiped dry.
If later you need to replace any units due to accidental damage or wear and tear, we can put you in touch with the kitchen supplier to request replacements at your own cost.
Under unit lights not working
Under unit lights, also known as pelmet lighting, are controlled by the same circuit as your main kitchen lighting.
Are the other lights working in the kitchen? If none of the lights turn on, check that the switch labelled 'light' on the consumer unit (fuse box) is in the 'on' position. Also check that it isn't a bulb that needs replacing.
If you continue to have issues then contact us for one of our electricians to attend.
