Worktops & splashbacks
Damaged
We thoroughly check your worktops and splashbacks prior to you moving in.
Should you notice any damage, this should have been raised during your Home Preview or Courtesy Check.
Depending on the type of worktop you have, placing hot pots and pans on it can cause damage, as can leaving water sitting on the worktop for some time. We recommend cleaning your worktops and splashbacks with a damp cloth then always wiping down to dry afterwards.
If you later need to replace any sections due to accidental damage or wear and tear we can put you in touch with the supplier to arrange directly at your own cost.
Sealant
Your kitchen has been sealed to ensure that the work surfaces are watertight.
However, puddles of water should not be left sitting on the work surfaces as these will cause damage. We recommend wiping down the sealant / mastic with a damp cloth and drying.
If the sealant begins to pull away due to natural shrinkage, this can be replaced as part of your home owner maintenance.
