Retaining/boundary walls

Brickwork

Bricks and stones are natural products and it is normal for them to have minor imperfections.

External brickwork and stonework should be checked in natural daylight from a minimum of 10 metres. If you are able to see any significant cracks in the facing bricks or other damage, such as chips and marks greater than 15mm in diameter, then let us know.

Drainage

External brickwork is designed with weep holes to allow for drainage.

If you have concerns about the positioning or functionality of the weep holes to a retaining and / or boundary wall let us know so we can check these against the design.

Damaged

Bricks and stones are natural products and colours will differ from one batch to the next.

Your brickwork and stonework should be reasonably uniform in texture, finish and colour. Any colour banding should not be excessive.

Any damage to your brickwork should have been raised during your Home Preview or Courtesy Check.
