Stop tap

Leak

All homes are fitted with a stop tap which is located under the kitchen sink. It is clearly labelled and controls the water supply to your home.

If you notice that you have a leak and you are unable to determine where it is coming from, we would recommend turning off the full water supply using the stop tap as soon as possible.

Check the area(s) around the leak to see if you can determine the problem. If the leak is being caused by mastic that has come away then you will need to attend to this as part of your home owner maintenance routine. If the leak is not caused by mastic then let us know as soon as possible.

If you are going on holiday or will be away from your home for some time we recommend turning the stop tap off until you return.
