Feast your eyes on our most popular flooring choices for 2020
One of the advantages of buying a brand new Redrow home is the opportunity to ‘make it your own’ through the very many specification choices, upgrades and optional extras available via My Redrow.
From kitchen cabinets and worktops to bathroom tiles and towel warmers; from fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets to the style of switches, sockets and door handles, there are so many ways to personalise your brand new Redrow home.
Flooring options and upgrades are always popular with our customers. We offer a wide range of tiles and luxury vinyl for kitchens, dining rooms, bathrooms and en-suites; and some super-soft carpets for other areas of the home, all from top name suppliers such as Amtico, Porcelanosa and Cormar.
We thought it would be fun to take a look at the five most popular choices over the last year.
1. Weathered Oak Amtico Spacia
Elegant shadowing gives a cool, contemporary feel to this traditional rustic oak-effect flooring that’s perfect for large kitchen and dining spaces. Adding a luxurious and warm touch, it’s perhaps not surprising that it takes top place in our list.
2. Sun Bleached Oak Amtico Spacia
The distressed, natural grey of Sun Bleached Oak adds a cool, contemporary look to any home and is another clear-cut favourite with many of our discerning customers.
3. White Oak Amtico Spacia
Those wanting a lighter, brighter look tend to choose the cool graceful tones of White Oak Amtico Spacia. It looks great in smaller kitchens but works well anywhere.
4. Cormar Sensation light taupe carpet
For something soft underfoot you can’t beat a Cormar Sensation deep pile carpet. This light taupe shade is particularly popular. It’s a mid-beige brown that's great for rooms with earthy tones and natural decors, as well as complementing brighter rooms.
5. Linear Stone Shale Amtico Spacia
Getting its fourth mention for Amtico in our top five, the realistic stone-effect of this particular luxury vinyl makes it a great choice for rooms such as the hallway, kitchen or bathroom. Unlike real stone however, it’s much warmer and more comfortable underfoot.
