Help to Sell eases the process so you have more time to make plans for your new home.
Quick sale
Once you’ve chosen your new Redrow home, and completed a Help to Sell application, we’ll arrange to get a valuation report on your current property. We will select one of our specialist, independent estate agent partners to do this. They will measure your rooms, take notes and photograph your home to help with the marketing on sites like Rightmove and Zoopla. They will then provide us with an in-depth report that, along with our own research on the local area, will help us achieve a sale, usually within six weeks.
Maximum interest
No matter what type of property you currently own, we will work with you and your estate agent to achieve its market value. Your property will be promoted through the major websites, like Rightmove and Zoopla, at the agreed selling price. We aim to achieve maximum interest during this early period. If this does not result in a quick sale, within three weeks or so, we will discuss a potential reduction with you to help sell your property.
Your responsibilities
Even if your property is already on the market, we often contribute towards your estate agent’s selling fees once it has sold. We will discuss our contribution with you to help you decide whether to go ahead with the Help to Sell scheme. However, if you complete on the sale of your existing property before the completion of the purchase of your Redrow home, you must pay the estate agent fees in full. The contribution agreed by Redrow will be transferred to you after completion has taken place.
You will also be fully responsible for the estate agent’s fees if you sell your home under the scheme but change your mind about buying a Redrow home.
While we do not hold your chosen Redrow property for you, we will always let you know if anyone else is interested in it, so you can decide what to do next.
Party time
If all goes according to plan, you will soon be packing up your belongings as you get ready to move into your new Redrow home. Congratulations. All that is left for you to do is organise your house-warming party.
