The East Midlands division has appointed Steve Smith, from Newark-on-Trent, as Area Sales Manager for the region, covering developments in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
Steve, who is ISMM accredited, and has won awards for his leadership and motivational skills, will oversee five developments in the region, maintaining outstanding levels of customer service and coaching the team to further drive sales.
Steve said: “Having worked for a number of housebuilders, I am excited to be joining a developer with such a fantastic core product and a great reputation for customer satisfaction.
“I’m incredibly familiar with every aspect of site development, from planning to launching showhomes, and everything in between. I’m looking forward to becoming an integral part of the Redrow East Midlands team, leading and training from within to ensure we continue to achieve maximum success.”
With over 20 years of experience in the property industry, Steve began his first sales role in Spain, where he had emigrated, and took a role with the company that built his villa. Finding he had natural ability in this industry, he continued to develop his career before returning to the UK in 1998.
Steve’s greatest achievements are making the land and new homes department of a local estate agency more profitable, and expanding a division in his previous role from 13 developments to 24 in just six months.
