On Saturday 19th September, Redrow Eastern will launch the first homes at its latest development, Hendricks Green. Based in Goffs Oak, Hendricks Green will offer 360 new homes, including bespoke two-bedroom apartments, and three- and four-bedroom homes from our award-winning Heritage Collection. The new homes will launch from Paul Wallace Estate Agents in Cheshunt.
Our new homes at Hendricks Green are located on a former cucumber farm and surrounded by the lush open fields of the Hertfordshire countryside. Combining architecture inspired by the 1930s Arts and Crafts movement with modern interiors, the homes at Hendricks Green are finished to the highest standard. With spacious interiors, generous double bedrooms and large windows. For those wanting to work from home, the generous spaces within our Heritage Collection homes are ideal for creating home offices. Our customer portal, MyRedrow gives buyers the opportunity to personalise their home when buying off-plan, from adding fitted wardrobes to customising tile colours, kitchen styles, and even the option to add on a conservatory.
Hendricks Green is located in the village of Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire. The new homes sit within green open spaces, a large village green, and a village crescent which is being created to provide a green focal point for the new community and integrate Hendricks Green with the existing neighbourhood. We are also providing a network of cycle routes and footpaths to provide connections to the village and surrounding area. An informal kickabout area and play areas are also being provided. The landscaping strategy has focused on maintaining natural biodiversity, by incorporating pollen-rich flowers, and species rich hedgerows and creating areas of natural grassland. Tree lined streets will also create visually attractive areas for new homeowners.
Despite its rural village location, Hendricks Green does not fall short of excellent transport links, with London only 25 miles away from the development. Local Cuffley and Waltham Cross train stations also provide fast transport links to London, with nearby Waltham Cross taking residents to London Liverpool Street in under half an hour.
Kerry McCoubrey, sales director at our Eastern division, commented: “We have already had a high volume of interest in this fantastic family development, which offers an ideal location for families looking to escape to the country, but also looking for an easy commute to London for days in the office. Hendricks Green is the prime location for the balance between city and country, and we encourage those looking to purchase to register their interest in our fantastic Heritage Collection homes now.”
Goffs Oak is home to a selection of Ofsted rated ‘good’ schools for primary and secondary ages. For higher education, the University of Hertfordshire is within easy reach, as well as the world-class universities of London just a quick train journey away. Just a short distance from Hendricks Green lies Cheshunt Park Golf Centre and Lea Valley White Water Centre, offering fantastic leisure opportunities close to home.
To make the process as convenient as possible, our Help to Sell scheme is open to all buyers wishing to purchase a home with us. With Help to Sell, buyers leaving an old home behind need not worry as we will arrange up to three appraisals of the former property while contributing to estate agent fees, to make the process run as smoothly as possible. Our Help to Sell scheme is available to all buyers, no matter where they lie on the property ladder, and at no extra cost.
