On Saturday 16th October, we released the third and final phase of homes at Eaton Green Heights, a 297-home community in Luton.
The phase saw the launch of 86 three- and four-bedroom homes from our award-winning Heritage Collection. Influenced by the early 20th-century Arts & Crafts era, the homes feature a combination of traditional exteriors and contemporary spacious interiors.
Two-thirds of the homes are already sold, and 135 new homeowners are moved into this growing community. To date, the homes have proven especially popular with first-time buyers due to the surrounding amenities and unrivalled transport links to the capital: train journeys into London St Pancras take as little as 24 minutes, and commuters can reach Blackfriars in around 45 minutes.
Kerry McCoubrey, Sales Director for the Eastern division, commented: “We are delighted to be launching the final group of homes at our thriving community Eaton Green Heights. Luton is a highly desirable area and with flexible working looking like it’s here to stay following the Covid-19 pandemic, we anticipate that the area will continue to attract new buyers and investment. The location offers homeowners the perfect combination of rural greenery and access to vibrant city life, and we look forward to welcoming new buyers to the site so they can experience the benefits of the setting first-hand.”
While ideally located for commuters, the site is also set next to the idyllic Chiltern Hills in nearby Dunstable, enabling homeowners to escape to the peace and quiet of the countryside in no time. There has also been significant investment in the local area, with plans for new retail, cinemas, and restaurants.
First time buyers will be able to benefit from the Help to Buy scheme which is available on the 3-bedroom semi-detached Letchworth, priced at £407,400. The downstairs features an expansive kitchen diner with a separate lounge, and upstairs there are three generously sized bedrooms, including a primary bedroom with its own en-suite.
All buyers at Eaton Green Heights needing to sell their current home can take advantage of our Help to Sell scheme at no extra cost. We will arrange up to three appraisals of the former property while contributing to estate agent fees, ensuring the process runs as smoothly as possible.
Buyers will be able to purchase houses off plan and can personalise their homes through our digital platform MyRedrow, enabling the selection of various extras and upgrades, including flooring, underfloor heating, and fitted wardrobes. For those looking to work from home, we also offer several home office packages, whereby purchasers can reconfigure one of the bedrooms to incorporate dedicated home office furniture.
