Redrow Eastern’s senior project manager at the housebuilder’s Westley Green development in Basildon has secured an industry accolade for his exceptional contribution to delivering high quality homes. The National House Building Council (NHBC) celebrates the hard work and commitment of site managers across the country, awarding them with Quality Awards.
Tom Holmes, our regional winner, begun his career as a site labourer before progressing to supervisor, forklift driver and into management roles. Joining our Eastern division in May 2016 he has worked hard with the wider team to deliver the 725-home community in Langdon Hills.
The winners of the prestigious industry award are selected from a pool of 16,000 site managers across the UK. The 12-month selection and judging process identifies site managers who demonstrate skills such as leadership, technical expertise, and attention to detail.
Tom Wright, managing director at our Eastern division commented, “It’s wonderful to find out that Tom has received a Pride in the Job award from the NHBC. He and the whole team at Westley Green work tirelessly to make sure each home is delivered to a high quality and our customers receive the best possible experience. This award win is testament to their commitment, and I wish Tom the best of luck at the next round in the autumn.”

Westley Green is a fantastic site and its been great working collaboratively to deliver quality new homes and watch the new community grow.”
