A new community will soon be blossoming after Redrow has started work at The Orchards at Tabley Green in Fulwood.
We acquired an additional five acres of land next to our Tabley Green development on Lightfoot Lane earlier this year when planning permission was granted for the new phase.
The Orchards will feature a collection of 36 homes, including 11 affordable, homes, and work has already started on site.
The homes will go on sale early next year and the new phase will also include some of our largest house styles, not previously available at the location.
Sales director for Lancashire, Sian Pitt, says, post-lockdown, we’ve seen huge demand for homes in the Fulwood area as families look for more space and different layouts: “Post-lockdown, we’ve been closely monitoring consumer trends around what people want from their home and a recent survey we carried out showed that spacious living arrangements that offer functionality to adapt, spread out and create dedicated spaces for working, play and living are now at the forefront of Brits’ minds.
“In the North West specifically, 40% of consumers aspire to live in a two-storey detached period style home with key features like a bay window, a front garden, large rear garden and dedicated parking for two cars side by side to the front of the home with a garage. I think this is why we’ve seen a surge in customers, because our homes offer all of this and more.”
House styles at The Orchards at Tabley Green will include the three-bed semi-detached Letchworth, three-bed detached Oxford Lifestyle and Leamington Lifestyle and the four-bed detached Henley, Balmoral and Richmond.
At 2,030 sq ft, the Richmond is one of our premium homes and among the largest in the Heritage Collection.
The magnificent four-bedroom detached family home offers generous proportions in every room: from the wide entrance hallway to the expansive open-plan kitchen, dining and family room that spans the rear of the property and large lounge with its bay window.
The downstairs also features a utility room off the kitchen with access to the garage, plus a WC and storage cupboard. Moving upstairs, there are four double bedrooms leading off the galleried landing, with bedrooms one and two each benefitting from an en-suite and the main bedroom also boasting a walk-in dressing room. There is also a family bathroom on this floor.
“Customers who reserve a home early on will also have the opportunity to personalise their home through our ‘My Redrow’ online portal. This members’ only area gives homeowners the chance to choose their interior specifications by choosing from an extensive range of options and paid-for extras,” adds Sian.
Fulwood is located just over four miles from Preston city centre, a city that was named the best place to live and work in the North West* earlier this year and The Orchards will also have an array of amenities close by too. For essentials, Sainsbury’s has a shop less than half a mile away and there is a Post Office close by too.
The Orchards is set to launch in the new year but interested customers can register their interest here: www.redrow.co.uk/tableygreen
