The Countess of Chester’s annual duck race, taking place this Saturday, April 20, includes community and corporate sponsored ducks, which have been decorated and dressed up to undertake the race.
This year the team at Redrow NW have sponsored a duck, which has been decorated on the company’s behalf by pupils at Belgrave Primary School.
Sarah Weaver, marketing manager at Redrow NW said: “We are thrilled to be involved in the duck race again this year. Thank you to all the pupils and the staff at Belgrave Primary School for doing such a great job.
“Four members of our team will also be volunteering on the day and will be cheering on our duck from the sidelines!”
Juliette Benton head teacher at Belgrave Primary School, added: “The pupils and the team have had a great time decorating Redrow’s duck ready for the big race. We are very happy to support the Countess of Chester Hospital and we hope it’s a great day for all."
