Pupils gathered to listen to a construction site safety talk by our health and safety manager Adam Brown and area sales manager Caroline Thompson Jones, to warn of the dangers of playing near a construction site.
“We had a great visit to Oldfield Primary School, the pupils listened well and got really involved in our talk,” said Adam.
“We spoke about what dangers exist on a site as well as why the team wear certain protective clothing, including hard hats, gloves, safety boots and high vis items.
“It is important for us all here at Redrow to inform youngsters of the potential dangers on a building site and why they should avoid playing near one. Thank you to Mrs Bailey for allowing us to come and meet the children.”
Nikki Bailey, deputy head at Oldfield Primary School said: “Thank you to Redrow for coming into the school. It was a very important message presented to the children regarding being safe around a building site, there was good use of audience participation too which helped to engage the pupils.”
We are currently building properties at nearby King’s Moat Garden Village, which offers a wide selection of three and four-bedroom properties. The garden village sits close to the Cheshire countryside and its proximity to the North West rail and motorway network gives it good access to Manchester, Liverpool and beyond, making it hugely appealing to commuters.
Garden villages are becoming increasingly popular, offering customers a community within a community with play areas and green spaces for residents and the wider neighbourhood to enjoy.
