The latest phase of Millstone View, in Penymynydd, Flintshire, includes some new and versatile house style choices.
With just one home left for sale in the first phase, which features a total of 87 homes, Redrow’s new release comes at a perfect time as demand for homes in this popular semi-rural location is still high.
Anna Evans-Kerr, head of sales for our North West, says: “At Millstone View buyers get the best of both worlds. They are surrounded by North Wales countryside but only five miles from Chester and 10 miles from Wrexham.
“Our second phase will include 94 three and four-bedroom homes in a mix of detached and semi-detached styles, so there is something for everyone including first time buyers and families looking for space to grow.
Houses first to be released for sale include the three-bedroom detached Amberley and a new house style for Millstone View, the Lincoln, a home which maximises on space by going up instead of out.
With four bedrooms and three floors, the semi-detached Lincoln can be arranged in a multitude of ways to suit different lifestyles.
“Three-storey living allows buyers to be really flexible with the space. If all four bedrooms aren’t needed for sleeping, then one of the bedrooms could easily be transformed into an office which is ideal for people who are working from home.”
The Lincoln’s ground floor is home to a spacious lounge, an open-plan kitchen and dining area that overlooks the garden, plus a handy cloakroom and laundry area. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, including a generous main bedroom with en-suite shower room. There’s a family bathroom on this floor too.
The top floor features two more bedrooms and another bathroom and it’s this part of the house that offers the most flexibility.
“It would be great for older children, who need more privacy, or for guests. But, equally, the rooms lend themselves to other uses. A home office is the obvious one, especially as we’re all being encouraged to work from home as much as possible. However, either room has potential to be used as a media, music or games room, a children’s playroom or a teenage den. The opportunities are endless,” Anna adds.
For families who want a more traditional two-storey layout, a four-bedroom detached Shaftesbury is also amongst the first homes due to be released.
Prices are expected to start from £298,995 for a three-bed Amberley and from £296,995 for a Lincoln. Some homes will also qualify for Help to Buy Wales meaning buyers can purchase a property up to £300,000 with as little as a 5% deposit if they reserve before March 2021. They will defer 20% of the cost with a Government-backed loan, which is interest free for the first five years.
