Simon Woodhouse, from Nantwich, was named as Sales Consultant of the Year and Kirsty Taylor, from Northwich, was named as Customer Services Employee of the Year.
Both team members were presented with the accolade at our annual customer conference.
Based at our Kingsbourne development in Nantwich, sales consultant Simon joined the team in the North West eight years ago.
“I’ve always worked in sales, but it was only when I bought a house to renovate that I became really interested in property and thought about selling houses as a job,” said Simon, 34.
“I applied for the role at Redrow and got it and I’ve never looked back. I now get to help people find their dream home and that’s something I am very passionate about.”
Simon’s role is a busy one, interacting with both prospective buyers and customers who have purchased a new home, talking to solicitors and estate agents, as well as liaising with the site team.
“The level of customer service received from all Redrow consultants is exceptional,” said Simon, who lives in Nantwich, with his partner and their two children.
“The experience needs to be relaxed, warm, welcoming and most of all comfortable. This is the biggest purchase of a person’s life.
“I am over the moon to have won this award. I’ve worked really hard on the Kingsbourne development and I feel my hard work has paid off and I have been rewarded for that.”
Based at our North West Daresbury office, Kirsty, a customer service manager, joined the team 16 months ago.
“I’ve always worked in customer service,” said Kirsty, who lives with her husband Curtis, a site manager at Redrow’s Woodford Garden Village, and their four-year-old daughter Isabella.
“I worked as an air hostess for 10 years. It’s cliché to say but I really am a people’s person.
“All the team here at Redrow have our customers at the forefront of their mind, that’s what sets Redrow’s customer experience apart.”
Kirsty is the main contact for customers on the lead up to moving in day and up to six months after.
“Before the new owners move in, I inspect the property, checking for any final issues and that everything is up to the standards our customers expect from Redrow. I always try to view it as I would my own home,” said Kirsty.
“I love my job. I am so passionate about what I do, and I am so very proud to have received this award. It’s so nice to have the recognition,” she added.
