Our South East division has launched 126 new apartments at Ebbsfleet Green, our community of 900+ homes at Ebbsfleet Garden City.
The apartment scheme, Plaza Central, represents the final phase of homes we are delivering at Ebbsfleet, with 79 apartments for private sale and 47 affordable. After a successful launch weekend, there are now 20 apartments available to purchase from the initial release.
Ranging in size from one- to two-bedrooms, the barn-style apartments start in price from £264,995 and benefit from A-rated energy efficiency.
They each benefit from a sweeping kitchen, dining and living area, with tall windows flooding the homes with light. Almost every apartment includes a large private balcony and all residents benefit from a central landscaped garden adjacent to the apartment building, offering the space to relax or socialise outdoors. All bedrooms are spacious doubles, complete with stylish finishing touches.
Once built, we will have completed our Ebbsfleet Green development after commencing building works in 2016. The new homes at Plaza Central are set alongside a school that opened last year, shops, pub and hotel. As the name suggests, Ebbsfleet Green contains plenty of green space, with over 40% of the development designated as parkland or open spaces, including play areas, allotments and sports pitches.
Interested buyers have the ability to customise their home using MyRedrow, our digital personalisation platform for selecting different extras and upgrades in line with the build programme, from flooring and tiles, to upgraded appliances and fun lifestyle features such as a wine cooler.
Residents at Plaza Central will benefit from Ebbsfleet’s connectivity, with the high-speed line which links Ebbsfleet International to London St Pancras in just 18 minutes. Canterbury, Maidstone and the seaside towns of Whitstable and Margate are also within easy reach via train and car. The Eurostar also calls at Ebbsfleet International, providing connections to Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam.
Proposals for further homes at Ebbsfleet
Separate to Ebbsfleet Green, we have a planning application under consideration for a 25-acre site in Eastern Quarry, called Alkerden Village, which would form part of the wider Ebbsfleet Garden City if approved.
The site has outline consent for 599 new homes, and we have since submitted a reserved matters application for an initial 227 contemporary one- and two-bedroom apartments and three- and four-bedroom houses. A decision is expected this April.
The new homes at Alkerden Village will be set amongst ample parkland with attractive landscaping and biodiversity features. Walking and cycling routes will connect the new residents to the surrounding area, including the high-speed train line from Ebbsfleet International.
