Our South East division is pleased to continue its support for The Learning Shop by sponsoring six students through their three-day construction skills (CSCS) programme, facilitated by North Kent College as part of their initiative with The Learning Shop in Bluewater
The Learning Shop has been open since 1999 and has been running the Construction skills programme for several years, with high success rates for employment and test results.
The next programme is scheduled to take place on 26-28th April, supporting 6 local unemployed individuals in the Dartford, Gravesham and Chatham area who require their CSCS card to find employment.
Denise Marsh MIEP, Business & Skills Advisor for The Learning Shop said: “With construction work growing around the area, we’re really pleased to be able to support local people back into work by offering local, trained and qualified individuals. We’re very grateful to have Redrow’s funding in place for when our courses restart.”
David Banfield, Planning Director for the South East division, said: “Training opportunities such as The Learning Shop are a hugely valuable tool for upskilling and supporting members of the local community so we are delighted to continue our involvement as a partner and sponsor.”
Our South East division operates 14 active or forthcoming sites across Kent, including Ebbsfleet Green, its flagship 900-home scheme at Ebbsfleet Garden City.
