The show home interior was developed by our experienced design team led by the talented Alysha Alli. She incorporated the latest styles and trends forecast for this year to create a special home that looks incredible and leaves a lasting impression, while still being within reach of home owners.
“We want every customer to be blown away by our show homes from the moment they walk in,” she says, “and that’s why we go all out to impress. But most importantly we want them to feel it’s attainable too.
“We’ve been thrilled and motivated by all the current trends to showcase the layout of the Leamington Lifestyle and the stunning design-led specification choices available in the current Heritage range.
“We have drawn inspiration from classical civilisations such as Rome and Greece, and this is reflected through the lighting design and accessories with celestial orbs, fluid shaping in large accessories and accent fabrics, like scatter cushions with mosaic style prints.
“We’ve featured rich, baked colours and warm tones which leap out from a more subtle canvas, and we’ve used marble, glass and polished concrete in the furniture and accessories such as console tables, coffee tables and bedside lighting to make a statement and develop a constant theme.”
As well as the stunning principal bedroom suite, the show home makes the most of the fabulous kitchen, dining and family area that extends the width of the property at the rear, exuding style and elegance with country-style shaker kitchen units and a range of top appliances from Siemens – customers can personalise, and choose upgrades for, their homes via the My Redrow online tool.
Classical elements are chosen in accessories like a black ceramic vase and marble mortar and pestle; while the dining area is wonderfully on-trend with a glass-topped table with dark wenge black legs and matching chairs with stone herringbone upholstery.
The family space has two modern yet cosy stone sofas with sumptuous accent cushions and a painted deep grey TV unit, and the flooring throughout is a wood effect ceramic plank tile.
“The classical contemporary subject continues throughout the show home: with luxurious fabrics and beautiful, opulent colours like burnt ochre. You can see them in the separate lounge which also has a dramatic standout light-fitting with a collection of spherical bulbs,” says Alysha. “There are gold and glass coffee tables, a dull gold vase and burnished brass tones in the circular glass mirror; and large abstract prints on the walls.”
