The scheme has now expanded into Ravenfield and Bramley with a £900 donation from us for 52 new lamppost signs, leaflets and recruitment costs.
We are currently building at nearby Poppy Fields, which is located off Moor Lane South, Bramley.
“We are very grateful to Redrow for this donation, thank you to all the team,” said Mike Dyson, from Bramley Neighbourhood Watch. "Anyone can join Neighbourhood Watch for free by visiting ourwatch.org.uk.”
Steve Jackson, sales director for our Yorkshire division, added: “The Neighbourhood Watch Scheme is a very important part of our communities, helping residents to feel safe and supported by their neighbours. We are very happy to have donated to such a worthy cause, which has enabled these villages to receive this reassuring service.”
Poppy Fields will eventually feature 240 homes, including 80 affordable properties, 28 of which have been allocated under the Governments ‘First Homes’ initiative, specifically for local first time buyers to purchase.
The 36-acre development will include a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes, all from our Heritage Collection as well as a large area of open space, featuring a play area and a community orchard.
