Styled by our industry recognised award-winning interiors team, the show homes, that will be open by appointment only, will showcase some of this year’s top interior trends to give buyers even more motivation to own one of the fantastic homes for themselves.
Aptly named after areas local to Thorpe Park, the four-bedroom detached Colton and three-bed detached Whitkirk Lifestyle show homes are both from our Heritage Collection. They will open their doors to provide inspiration to potential purchasers looking for a new home in a vibrant new neighbourhood.
Alysha Alli who leads our interior team to ensure both show homes are on trend for 2021: “Show homes principally provide a taster for customers so they can imagine what their lives could be like in a Redrow home. The aim is to create aspirational interiors so when customers walk through the door they think ‘I want to live somewhere like this’.”
Throughout both show homes inspiration has come from mythologies and classical civilisations such as Rome and Greece. This has been reflected in accent and feature pendant lighting that includes orbs plus stylised accessories such as scatter cushions in accent fabrics with mosaic style patterns.
“Materials such as marble and brass are also included in pieces such as side tables, foot stools and vases,” adds Alysha.
Colour arrangements that are set to be lead the way this year include relaxed shades of blue, serene greens and grounding neutrals.
Alysha added: “In the Colton, we’ve featured wall colours such as Dulux’s DH Indigo and Rosemary Leaf as well as including hints of this palette as accent feature details in the sofas and occasional chairs to bring warmth, depth and interest to the spaces.”
The Whitkirk Lifestyle show home is from our ‘Lifestyle’ range and offers open-plan living downstairs and three larger bedrooms, that each come with their own en-suite, on the footprint of what would usually be a four-bedroom home. The main bedroom also features a walk-in wardrobe.
“The Whitkirk includes lots of warm earthy neutral such as Dulux’s Mid Umber, which we’ve used as a feature paint in the hall, stairs and landing. The same tones have been used in the accent scatter cushion fabrics and curtain fabric background tones,” says Alysha.
Thorpe Park will eventually combine retail, leisure, offices and homes that are all within easy reach Leeds city centre. Crossgate station is just 1.5 miles and away offers direct trains to York and Leeds. The new North Leeds link road is also coming soon plus a new train station making it one of the most well-connected neighbourhoods outside the city.
The new show homes (open daily between 10am – 5.30pm) at The Avenue at Thorpe Park will promote the three and four-bedroom homes we’re building at Thorpe Park. Current prices start from £312,950 for a semi-detached Ludlow up to £414,950 for a four-bedroom Marlow.
Alternatively, The Point is a mix of contemporary looking apartments and houses that currently start from £204,950 for a two-bed apartment.
