With a track record for award-winning marketing, Redrow Homes has once again come out on top for its creative thinking.
The Flintshire-based national housebuilder’s ‘Time to Move’ campaign won the award for best online advert or campaign at the Roses Creative Awards, held in Manchester on May 15.
The event rewards “great creative thinking across all disciplines” and is open to all companies based outside of the M25.
Redrow’s winning series of ‘mini movies’ brought colour, movement and humour to the normally static world of online banner advertising. Actors squeezed into spaces too small for their everyday activities made people think about their current circumstances and whether it was “time to move”.
It formed part of a creative and integrated digital campaign combining video, online advertising, national emails and social media.

Our Time to Move campaign was created to be eye-catching and dynamic while also resonating with homebuyers and capturing their motivation for moving home. We’re delighted this campaign has been recognised by judges at the prestigious Roses Creative Awards.”
Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, Redrow beat off tough competition from other nominees in the category including Uber - for its video-on-demand entry for client Superdrug; two entries by BJL – for its Sponge & Spoof ad for Subaru and Rustlers Hunger Monkey Campaign; and Mason Zimbler’s – for The simple joy of Dot, Circle, Box for Samsung.
A spokesperson for the awards said: “The standard of work within the regions is outstanding and year after year the Roses is producing excellent displays of creative talent.”
Previous marketing successes for Redrow have included three consecutive ‘best marketing initiative’ titles at the annual Housebuilder Awards in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
