Dean of Chester is guest of honour at new homes open day

A visit by the Dean of Chester, The Very Revd Prof Dr Gordon McPhate, marked a special open day at a unique development of country homes near Chester.

The Dean was Redrow Homes’ guest of honour as the housebuilder hosted a professionals’ launch event for its new luxury venture Stretton Green.

Guests looked around the exquisite show home and were able to take special tours of the development to see how the first properties are beginning to take shape.

Sales director for Redrow Homes (NW) Anita Williams spoke to visitors about the outstanding qualities of the exclusive development, which has already met with strong interest from discerning Cheshire purchasers, before the Dean cut the ribbon to officially mark the occasion.

Anita said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the Dean of Chester, The Very Revd Prof Dr Gordon McPhate, along with so many other distinguished guests for our professionals’ open day.

“Stretton Green is an exceptional development which warrants exceptional attention to detail. A handpicked array of contractors and suppliers have delivered something to be proud of and our open day was the perfect opportunity to invite many of them back to see how the homes are progressing. The result of their hard work speaks volumes as soon as you drive up to the spectacular show home.”

With reservations already taken at Stretton Green, enquiry levels and feedback on the luxury detached residences have been phenomenal.

Located in Stretton village, in the heart of rural Cheshire and just 10 miles from historic Chester, Stretton Green is a bespoke enclave of four and five-bedroom homes, adjacent to the stunning golf courses of Carden Park and surrounded by rolling countryside.

Anita added: “Every home is built with an emphasis on traditional values; with architecture inspired by the region’s finest country homes and interiors given a classic and timeless feel. Architecture has been inspired by the impressive manor houses and charming country cottages for which this part of Cheshire is both envied and renowned. Each home is individually named to reflect its distinctive charm, and set within its own private grounds, with a gated gravel driveway.”

Linley House, the show home, is open daily so discerning homebuyers can explore every inch of the resplendent property and its high end specification.

With two championship golf courses on the doorstep, plus a host of other leisure pursuits, residents are positively encouraged to enjoy the facilities at the neighbouring Carden Park. Residents will all benefit from a bespoke leisure package, which includes a two-year full membership of the Golf Club as well as extensive use of the hotel’s spa facilities.

Initial prices are from £830,000 for a four-bedroom home up to £1,300,000 for a five-bedroom home.
