Exchange your Home - but not your Dream

However much they long to own a brand new home, the thought of selling their existing property can make some buyers think twice.

The cost of estate agents, getting involved with chains and living in hope of a buyer can turn the perfect property dream into a nightmare.

But Redrow’s part-exchange scheme can change all that, making buying a new house as simple and straight-forward as it is affordable. And it is available at one of its most picturesque developments, Ricksby Grange in Wrea Green, Lancashire.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), explained: “Redrow has a number of incentives to help people turn their dream of buying a brand new home into reality.

“And among them is our superb part-exchange scheme which is available on certain properties at Ricksby Grange, and is designed to take away any of the stress, hassle or potential delays of selling your old home.”

Part-exchange is available where the value of a customer’s current property is at least 35% lower than the brand new Redrow house they have chosen. Redrow then arranges a part-exchange valuation on home-owners’ existing property and, with agreement from both sides, effectively acts as a cash buyer.

“People could receive an offer from Redrow within as little as seven days, so they could be in a position to move virtually straight away without any of the stress and the worry of lengthy chains,” said Claire. “And, better still, no estate agents’ fees to pay!”

And with the stunning properties and idyllic location afforded at Ricksby Grange, there will be no shortage of willing would-be residents.

Wrea Green has won Lancashire’s Best-Kept Village award 15 times and, with its charming duck pond and beautiful village green it’s not hard to see why. There is a village store and post office and a wonderful community feel, and it's also close to Lytham, which earned a top spot in this year’s Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Live’ list.

Combine the picture-postcard prettiness of the area with Redrow’s popular Heritage Collection three and four-bedroom homes, which blend Arts and Crafts inspired exteriors with 21st century interiors, and there are few who wouldn’t want to live in a place like this.

Prices at Ricksby Grange currently start at £399,995 for a four-bedroom detached Welwyn house with en-suite and double garage and rise to £479,995 for the beautiful Balmoral with four double bedrooms, two en-suites and a study/family room as well as the formal lounge.

Redrow’s show home and marketing suite off Ribby Road are open Thursday to Monday, 10am until 5.30pm. For more information call 01772 396826 or visit www.redrow.co.uk/ricksby.
