Homebuyers can help in the fight against cancer with a cuppa this week as Redrow celebrates the 23rd birthday of Macmillan’s annual ‘Big Coffee Morning’ event.
The housebuilder has promised to donate £10 to the charity for every visitor who comes along and enjoys a coffee at either of Redrow’s stunning Flintshire developments.
Attendance is completely free at Heritage Park, in Penymyndd on Thursday, September 26, and Heathlands, in Buckley on Friday, September 27, and Redrow will be providing plenty of coffee, tea and delicious homemade cakes during the events between 10am-12pm.
And whether visitors are firmly in the market for a new home, or just want to come and explore these stunning developments, anyone can join in on the fun.
The fundraising event comes as people up and down the country put on their own coffee mornings to help raise money for Macmillan.
Last year more than five million people around the UK hosted or attended a coffee morning, raising a record breaking £15m.All the money raised will go towards local Macmillan teams, including ones in Flintshire, to ensure that no one will have to fight cancer alone.
Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), explains: “Here in the North West and North Wales everyone is familiar with the wonderful work that Macmillan Cancer Support carries out.
“Redrow are proud to be working in association with such an amazing charity and we really hope that lots of potential homebuyers turn up so that we can donate as much money possible to this fantastic cause”.
During the morning customers will also get the chance to take Redrow’s “15 minute Mortgage Challenge” to find out if they can secure a mortgage on a new home.
Anita added: “We want to streamline the buying process as much as possible to make it quick and simple for our customers. During our 15 Minute Mortgage Challenge, visitors to either Heritage Park or Heathlands will be able to talk to our new homes mortgage specialists about their options.
“Based on their savings, income and outgoings we’ll quickly be able to work out how much they could afford to borrow to buy a new home. In fact they could even find out if they qualify for a mortgage in just 15 minutes or the time it takes to have a cuppa with us!”
To help in the fight against cancer and to take Redrow’s 15 Minute Mortgage Challenge, visit either Heritage Park on Mold Road, Penymynydd, Flintshire on Thursday, September 26 between 10am to 12pm, or Heathlands on Church Road, Buckley, Flintshire on Friday, September 27 between 10am to 12pm.
