Holding Court in Buckshaw Village

Redrow has released a new pocket of properties in the increasingly popular Buckshaw Village in Lancashire.

Heritage Court is a small enclave of homes off Central Avenue, but is being sold from Redrow’s Heritage Brook development on the edge of the village.

Ideal for first-time buyers, downsizers or even investors, Heritage Court features a collection of just eight mews-style properties with two or three bedrooms from only £159,995.

There are three styles of home. Simple yet stylish, compact and yet undeniably chic, The Ledbury redefines the concept of the 'two-up, two-down'. This home enjoys a spacious lounge, open plan kitchen and dining area and cloakroom downstairs, together with two double bedrooms – one of which has an en-suite shower room - and a substantial family bathroom upstairs.

The Malvern offers a fully-fitted kitchen and combined dining room, which is perfect for gathering the family together, whiles a separate lounge provides a place to relax and unwind. A ground floor cloakroom adds to the practicality and there are three good sized bedrooms upstairs, the master of which, again, has an en-suite.

The Ivel also has three bedrooms, including master with en-suite, and a bright, spacious lounge with bay window feature. The open plan kitchen and dining area has a tucked-away laundry space for peace and quiet. As an end-terrace and corner plot it offers extra space, good room sizes and plenty of light.

Part of Redrow’s popular Heritage Collection all three homes embrace the best of old and new. The traditional exteriors are complemented by the contemporary style and modern features found inside.

“This is another string to our bow at Buckshaw Village,” said Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire). “It is situated off the main thoroughfare, with easy access to all the local amenities that have been developed in the last few years. Residents benefit from a wealth of facilities including a village school, GP surgery, pharmacy, swimming pool, superstore and a railway station. Chorley and Leyland are both close-by and the M6 and M61 easily reached.”

Owner-occupiers can purchase using Help to Buy, the Government-backed incentive which can reduce the initial purchase price by 20% as well as enabling the buyer to put down as little as 5% deposit. The Government lends up to 20% of the value of the property through an equity loan which is interest free for five years. Using Help to Buy the Ledbury would be available for the initial purchase price of only £127,996.
