How to master a move to a brand new home in Whalley

Redrow is holding a special event in Whalley this weekend to let people know how to make a move to a brand new home the easy way.

On Sunday July 12, at its Lawson Rise development on Clitheroe Road, visitors will be able to find out more about Mastermove, an initiative aimed at those who have a property to sell and would like to move with a minimum of fuss.

Lawson Rise, off Clitheroe Road, will feature 54 of the homebuilder’s impressive four and five-bedroom detached family homes, each boasting a premium specification.

Once a new home has been selected, the award-winning housebuilder’s Mastermove scheme could help homeowners sell up and move on quickly, avoiding any lengthy chains – and paying their estate agent’s fees.

Customers who sign up for Mastermove will have their property valued and, once a selling price is agreed, Redrow instructs a local estate agent to market the property on their behalf. Crucially, the housebuilder keeps in regular contact with all parties to ensure the sales process runs quickly and smoothly and they will even pay the estate agent’s fees at the end of the day. All it takes is a small deposit, which will be refunded upon completion.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “At the events we’ll be explaining how Mastermove works in all kinds of circumstances. Whether you’re moving up, down or sideways on the property ladder, with Mastermove you should be able to avoid the headache of a long wait to sell your home. We’ll work closely with a local agent in a bid to help you sell your property much quicker and at full market value. We’ll have mortgage experts available during the events to offer impartial financial advice plus estate agents on hand to arrange property valuations.”

For those who venture to the Whalley development there’s already a beautifully designed and fully furnished four-bedroom detached showhome open for viewing so visitors on the day will be able to get a real flavour of the lifestyle on offer.

Nestled in the charming village of Whalley, close to Clitheroe, the venture is surrounded by some beautiful Lancashire countryside and boasts easy access to Blackburn, Preston and Burnley. The pretty location also made the Sunday Times Best Places to Live list for 2015. Current prices start from £459,995.

The Mastermove event will be held on Sunday July 12 between 11am and 4pm.
