Homebuyers in Wrea Green are invited to a special event this weekend, showcasing new homes for sale, while highlighting how easy it can be to get moving thanks to a range of initiatives.
On Saturday, September 17, Redrow is hosting an ‘open house’ at its popular development, Ricksby Grange
in Wrea Green, to help would-be buyers secure the home of their dreams.
With the Henley style show home available to view, potential buyers can drop in between 10am and 5.30pm on the day to have a look round, with help on hand to find out about Redrow’s Mastermove, the government-backed Help to Buy scheme and, in some cases, the possibility of a part exchange.
Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), explains: “Our Henley show home will be open for visitors to view throughout the day. It’s one of a range of four-bedroom detached house styles currently available at Ricksby Grange, along with the Welwyn, Canterbury and Sunningdale. The Balmoral style is also coming soon so this event gives buyers the opportunity to find out more about what’s on offer with the chance to buy or reserve.
“We have a range of incentives to help get things moving. Those with an existing property to sell can use our Mastermove service, which recruits the skills and experience of a local estate agent. The agent will be managed by us and we will either contribute to or pay the customer’s selling fees in full at the end of the day. What’s more, part exchange is available on certain properties, so buyers are encouraged to come along for a chat to find out what we can do.
“Another initiative, Help to Buy, can be an affordable way for buyers to purchase one of our brand new Heritage Collection homes. This scheme allows both first time buyers and those selling a home to take out a 20% equity loan that’s interest free for the first five years. It means they should be able to purchase a new home with only a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, making for lower monthly repayments in those crucial first few years. The equity loan covers the balance and can be paid back when the customer has more funds available or when they come to resell.”
The four-bedroom Henley at Ricksby Grange, with two en-suite bedrooms, a double garage, and a 36ft family dining and kitchen area, that would normally cost from £489,995, can be bought for an initial outlay of only £391,996 using Help to Buy; while the Welwyn reduces from an initial outlay of £399,995 to £319,996.
The Ricksby Grange development, off Ribby Road in Wrea Green, five miles from Lytham St. Annes, features a selection of homes from Redrow’s Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection.
Homebuyers don’t need an appointment to go along on the day. For more information on the house styles and incentives available at Ricksby Grange, call 01772 396826 or visit www.redrow.co.uk/ricksby
