Sales consultants Yvonne Scales and Will Angus are on hand and ready to help buyers into brand new homes at The Grange at Yew Tree Park, all the while adapting to new ways of working while continuing to develop lasting relationships with customers.
The experienced sales team lifts the lid on what life has been like selling homes during a pandemic and why they think The Grange is the best place for buyers in search of a new home in 2021.
How have you found adapting to selling homes during Covid?
Will: It has been interesting to say the least. We want to ensure all visitors to the sales office and two show homes feel reassured that the environment is safe and they feel comfortable talking to us through face coverings and screens.
Yvonne: The whole team has adapted well to working with all the new procedures and managing our customers’ expectations. Keeping ourselves and our customers safe is our top priority.
Can you explain how Redrow has made sales offices and show homes Covid safe?
Yvonne: The first step is to ask all visitors if they have any symptoms or been in contact with anyone who has had Covid within the last 14 days. When they step inside the sales office, we encourage all visitors to sanitise their hands and utilise the disposable gloves we provide while visiting the show homes, in order to minimise touch points in communal areas such as door handles and opening cupboards.
Will: We also ask visitors to check in on the Test and Trace app. Plus, to ensure that only one household is in the show homes at one time, we use door hangers to inform when show homes are occupied. We have also stopped handing out paper and are now using iPad’s that we can wipe clean to share information such as house styles, layouts and upgrades with visitors.
Face coverings are mandatory and we also recommend that visitors make an appointment before arriving at the development so we can ensure we can give them plenty of our time and answer all questions they have.
Why is now a good time to buy a house?
Will: Following such an unusual year a lot of people have re-evaluated what they need from their home and with the range of house styles we have available at The Grange there really is something for everyone.
What makes The Grange stand out from other new build developments in the area?
Yvonne: The homes at The Grange have great kerb appeal. Redrow’s Heritage Collection is inspired by the Arts and Crafts architectural style so they feature traditional exteriors combined with modern and light interiors. There is also lots of public open space on the development, something that residents have really appreciated during 2020. The semi-rural location and local amenities are also big factors in why The Grange is so popular.
Will: Some of our clients are now prioritising a study or designated space for a home office while others are looking for an additional family area, so they have areas to enjoy family time and have their own separate spaces too- essential with households spending more time in doors. Luckily, we have houses that can meet a range of personal needs and circumstances, including generous plots with spacious gardens.
Area sales manager, Amy Bates, says: “Yvonne and Will are on hand seven days a week to help customers find their dream home. They work very well together and are an asset to the Redrow team. Whether you’re buying for the first time, buying for more room or downsizing to something more manageable, they can guide customers through the whole process.”
The Grange at Yew Tree Park currently has two and three-bedroom homes available, priced from £204,995 for a two-bed mews-style Ledbury to £274,995 for a three-bed detached Warwick with four-bed homes coming soon.
