Our South East division has renewed its sponsorship of Ashford Rugby Club, who have received £1,500 to fund new kit and equipment for the upcoming season. Founded in 1885, Ashford Rugby Club is renowned in the South East, and we’re delighted to display our new logo on the U14s kit.
Ashford Rugby Club has been prominent in the game for over a century and moved to their current home at Bybrook in 1976. Ashford RFC is home to 19 different teams, varying between men, women and children from the age of six, making sponsorship vital for kitting out and supporting each team. Our donation of brand-new kit and equipment will be warmly welcomed by Ashford Rugby Club’s U14s.

Tim Scrivens, Team Coach for Ashford Rugby Club U13s, commented: “It has been such a difficult time for sports clubs across the country, with months of uncertainty about the future, no one knowing when, or if, we could get back to the sports we love. But through all of this we at Ashford Rugby club U14s have been buoyed in the knowledge that Redrow would be sponsoring us for another season, so there was light at the end of the tunnel, something to look forward to.
“Whilst Covid has been devastating, it has given us time to reflect upon what we need to work on as coaches and players and what goals we, as a team, should be striving to achieve. The Redrow sponsorship has enabled us to buy much needed equipment and training aids. Equipment that will help the whole team to develop and improve. We are now looking towards the future and hopefully a tour in 2022, where sponsorship funds may be used to subsidise the players team shirts. A heartfelt thanks to Redrow from all at Ashford Rugby Club U14s, here's to a great 2021-22 season for all.”
