Last chance: Here's how you could save £20,000 on a new home in Oxford
We’ve announced details of our final property eligible for the government’s stamp duty holiday.
Calling for homebuyers to take advantage of the scheme, which ends on 31 March, our Thames Valley division has released details of its final property available for the discount, which is eligible for the maximum savings of £15,000.
Our Thames Valley division will also be offering an additional £5,000 stamp duty top up, as well as contributing £1,750 towards legal fees, meaning the prospective homebuyer is able to enjoy savings of nearly £22,000.
The Clarendon II, available from £595,000 and located at The Steeples development, on Stevenson Crescent, is a three-bedroom, three-storey home with off street parking, perfect for homebuyers looking for both flexibility and practicality.
Featuring an open-plan dining and family room on the ground floor, which opens out onto the rear garden, the property offers the perfect space for spending time together. The kitchen also comes with upgraded silestone worktops and a Siemens dishwasher, as well as flooring fitted throughout the house.
Upstairs, there is a second lounge area, as well as a family bathroom. This floor also features one of the three bedrooms, which could equally be used as a home office, thanks to its quiet and tranquil location in the house.
On the second floor, two further bedrooms, including the master, both boast their own ensuite, and provide a relaxing haven away from the hustle and bustle of family life.
Sarah Boyce, Sales Director in the Thames Valley, said: “The Clarendon II is our final property in Oxford available for the stamp duty holiday and what’s more, we will top up the £15,000 savings with an additional £5,000 to cover the total stamp duty cost, as well as a contribution to legal fees. This means the home that may once have seemed out of reach may be much more affordable than initially thought.
“Whether it’s an additional bedroom for a home office, a garden to spend more time outside, or upgrades to add a touch of luxury, savings from the scheme can easily bring you one step closer to your ideal property.
“We’d encourage anyone wanting to take advantage of the stamp duty and legal fee savings to book an appointment with our team at The Steeples as soon as possible – this property won’t be around for much longer!”
