New Builds in Hampshire

Redrow’s new builds in Hampshire represent the cream of the crop for properties, no matter what stage of life you're at.

Hampshire is a wide area that shares borders with Berkshire, Dorset, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire. Key locations include Aldershot, Basingstoke, Brighton, Camberley, Chichester, Eastbourne, Fareham, Hastings, Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester. Redrow has several developments across this beautiful county, so you have numerous great choices if you're looking for a new place to call home.

Redrow’s new homes in Hampshire are built with your priorities in mind. Everything we do is based on quality. But not only that: we strive to create sustainable and vibrant communities where people really want to live. Because of that, we offer:

• Ultrafast Broadband as standard
• A-ratings for efficiency
• Fantastic locations for developments
• Safe home neighbourhoods
• Areas of green space
• Wildlife-friendly neighbourhoods

With a new build, you avoid all the legacy problems of a second hand home. Our homes are designed to save water, reduce heat loss, reduce C02 emissions, make the most of space and more. If you wanted to bring an older home up to the standard of a Redrow new build, it could cost an average of £50,000!

Make Your New Home in Hampshire a Redrow New Build

We offer Help to Buy on many of our new build homes. However, our Incentives scheme can help you in other ways too, With Help to Sell, we can make your move to a Redrow home as simple as possible. We'll take care of selling the property you're in now, and can even contribute to your estate agent's fees. If you're eying up one of our homes that's yet to be released, then Prime Position can help you to reserve it, with no obligation to proceed.

Our dedicated team of interior designers ensure that the inside of your new home will be beautifully crafted. You'll also get unmatched practicality, with modern security and fire safety features. However, we like to give you maximum control to leave your own stamp too. With My Redrow, you're in control of the aesthetic of your kitchen, and can access eco-friendly extras as well. When people see our homes, we want them to recognise that it can only be Redrow who delivers such great quality.

New Homes in Fantastic Hampshire Locations

Redrow is committed to building our developments within easy reach of all the amenities that you're likely to need. Therefore, you can always count on finding something suitable in your local area. For example, Hampshire has many top quality schools to send your children to, and we take this into account when we’re building homes. You’ll find a wide range of both ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ schools on the doorsteps of our housing developments, so your children's education will be in the best hands.

Lots of "A roads" and regular, reliable buses make Hampshire an easy place to get around. The M3 and M27 motorways are great for this as well. London is reachable within 2 hours by train from any part of Hampshire, and places like Farnborough are then within an hour’s train journey of that base. The South Western Main Line also passes through Winchester, Basingstoke and Southampton. This means you can conveniently move between London and Weymouth. If you're thinking of leaving home soil, then transport links are similarly good. Southampton Airport is the obvious hub, but the county also lets you reach Heathrow and Gatwick with minimal effort. Cross channel ferries offer links to the Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, France and Spain too.

Days Out in Hampshire

As a home location, Hampshire has plenty of heritage to enjoy. It's famous for being the home of Jane Austen - now buried at Winchester Cathedral - and Charles Dickens. It's the birthplace of the Royal Navy, the British Army and the Royal Air Force. It's also the site of Highclere Castle, better known in popular culture as “Downton Abbey”. Hampshire is the largest country in South East England, with a picturesque coastline situation. Coastal resorts like Hayling Island, Calshot and Southsea play to this strength, giving you plenty of options for days out.

Speaking of great days out, there's also lots more to do. If you like shopping trips, then hotspots like Southampton’s Westquay shopping centre and Portsmouth’s Gunwharf Quays designer outlet are stellar destinations. Many Hampshire towns have regular markets that you can explore too. Popular attractions include Thruxton Motorsport Centre and the Beaulieu National Motor Museum. Meanwhile, little ones will love Paultons Park Home of Peppa Pig World, and Birdworld. Marwell Zoo is also an option, and is directly serviced by a handy seasonal bus route.

As regards areas of natural beauty, Hampshire is truly spoiled for choice. Half of the county is covered by the New Forest Wildlife Park, which extends into Wiltshire and Dorset, and covers more than 200 sq. miles. Likewise, the South Downs is one of the UK’s largest open spaces, and the North Wessex Downs is similarly rural.
