What is homeowner support?
Early in 2021 we added a new feature to My Redrow, the dedicated members’ area of redrow.co.uk. Homeowner Support truly brought house-buying into the digital age – a streamlined ‘one stop shop’ where everything you need to know about your new home is just a click or two away. A year or so on, we’re constantly adding new elements, from up-to-the minute articles to fresh video content, giving you invaluable guidance on how to look after and maintain your new property. But, as well as acting as a self-help tool, Homeowner Support also provides the means to log and report any issues in the fastest and most effective way.
How to use My Redrow homeowner support
If you’ve gone - or are going - through the process of buying a Redrow then you’re probably already familiar with the My Redrow area of our website. It’s where most customers start their home-buying journey, finding the answers to basic questions like ‘What is included in a Redrow home’? It’s also the platform that many buyers use to inspect floor plans, personalise their interior specification, complete their reservation and keep all their important documents in one convenient place.
Now, thanks to the Homeowner Support tab which you can find at the top of the My Redrow page, you’ll never be alone when completing the remainder of your journey: from the moment of completion to the day your warranty ends.
Once you enter the new simple-to-navigate area, you’ll find a wealth of information at your fingertips, including answers to the most common questions. A query about your initial energy meter readings? The details are on your screen. Want to know what does new build warranty cover ? We’ll provide a full breakdown.
Of course, we know it takes a little while to find your feet in a new home, so we do offer more than an online service. For the first four weeks, you can also expect calls from our customer service team who’ll want to make sure you’re settling in. They will also be there to assist you in the unlikely event that any problems with the property come to light.
There for you 24/7
Once the initial four-week period is over, Homeowner Support is your first port of call when it comes telling us about any issues. We’ve made it as easy to surf as possible, providing a series of tabs that enable you to pinpoint exactly what has gone wrong. You can also access articles and videos that help you understand whether the issue is covered by your warranty. If so, you can take some simple-to-follow steps to log your problem with us, and even upload images to provide us with further information. Once that’s done you can track our responses online, safe in the knowledge we’ll always deal with matters as quickly as we can.

Although we advise using Homeowner Support to log any issues, we do recognise that there may be very rare occasions when you might need to speak to someone urgently. If such a matter does arise, details of our 24-hour emergency helpline are also available on the site.
'How to...' Guides
Picking up the keys to a new house may be exciting, but it can also be disorientating. Familiarising yourself with a new layout, fittings and furnishings takes time, and everyone can do with a little moving home help. That’s why we’ve put together an extensive library of articles and videos that tell you everything about your new property and how to get the best from it in the days, weeks and months ahead.
Our ‘How to…’ guides cover everything from ‘how to bleed a radiator’ and ‘how to adjust a toilet seat’ to ‘how to maintain your garden’. Not only have we made them easy to understand , but we also update them regularly to make sure they include any new tips and research. A few hours going through the guides to check what information is available is time well spent. Even if you don’t need to put any of the advice into action right now, you never know when you might need it!
