We’ve donated £269 to Girlguiding Alcester & Avon Villages District as part of our community fund.
Our Midlands division, currently building at Poets Grange on Station Road, is dedicated to supporting local communities in and around its developments. The donation forms part of the division’s Community Fund, which will see them donate a total of £5,000 to local organisations throughout 2022.
Girlguiding Alcester & Avon Villages District offer opportunities for girls aged 5-18, to develop their potential and make a difference to the world. Their programme is girl-led with all members, from the youngest Rainbow, being encouraged to help choose activities and projects, with a focus on adventure and challenge.
The group will use their donation to host an activities day, where the girls can spend all day creating arts and craft as well as learning new skills and activities, using the funds given by us to buy the supplies.
Stephanie Jackson, Leader at Girlguiding Alcester & Avon Villages District said: “We would like to thank Redrow Midlands for their kind donation.
“Girlguiding Alcester & Avon Villages District provides weekly activities for almost 200 girls and young women in and around Alcester in Warwickshire, and 104 of these are Brownies.
“The activity days that we can now organise, thanks to the funds from Redrow Midlands, will enable the girls to have fun while learning new skills, trying new activities and making new friends.

Our Midlands division is building new homes at Poets Grange.
