Our Midlands division is hosting a free first-time buyer advice weekend at Abbey Walk and Abbey Fields, on Castle Farm Way, from 10am-5:30pm, on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th March.
Those in the market for a new home can book an appointment to find out more about getting on the property ladder by taking advantage of the Help to Buy scheme.
The government-backed initiative means first-time buyers need a deposit of just five percent. They can then borrow 20 per cent of the purchase price in the form of an equity loan, which offers more affordable interest rates typically associated with a 25 percent deposit. The scheme is available when buying new homes up to the value of £600,000 and is available to both first-time buyers and house movers.
Regional property price caps vary across the country, with first-time buyers in the West Midlands able to use the scheme when purchasing a new home up to the value of £255,600.
Visitors on the day will also be able to find out more about plot 46 at Abbey Walk, a Ledbury 3 which is available under the current Help to Buy scheme. Priced at £209,995, this three-bedroom home is Readymade and available to move into straight away with a number of incentives included, such as flooring throughout, a special curtains and blinds package and multi-rooms downlights.

The Ledbury 3 features traditional exteriors and contemporary interiors, offering the best of both worlds by striking the perfect balance between charm and modernity. Its spacious lounge, open-plan kitchen and dining area and two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms upstairs, has proved to be ideal for young families and rightsizers alike.
Elaine Cartwright, Sales Director for the Midlands division, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for local people to get on the property ladder and buy their dream home. We are delighted to offer one-to-one expert advice at our event to show potential first-time buyers just how easy the process can be.
“The Help to Buy scheme aims to make the process of buying a home as affordable as possible. We’d encourage people in Priorslee and further afield to come along to our brand-new development, take a tour of our showhomes, and receive tailored advice.”
Priorslee has long been Telford’s most desirable district, and it’s easy to see why. While it is located conveniently close to the town, with the M54 just minutes away, it also benefits from the open Shropshire countryside that stretches all the way to the M6 and beyond.
