Those in the market for a new home can book an appointment to find out more about how to take advantage of the Help to Buy and Help to Sell schemes.
The government-backed Help to Buy scheme means first-time buyers need a deposit of just five percent. Buyers can then borrow 20 per cent of the purchase price in the form of an equity loan, meaning they'll have access to more affordable interest rates typically associated with a 25 percent deposit.
Regional property price caps vary across the country, with first-time buyers in the West Midlands able to use the scheme when purchasing a new home up to the value of £255,600.
Meanwhile, the Help to Sell scheme, which is available at Redrow at Houlton, is ideal for those keen to purchase their forever home or upgrade to a new build. Designed to remove the stress of selling a house, we’ll take care of the entire process, including valuations, the appointment of an estate agent, and paperwork – allowing future buyers to simply focus on the packing.
Elaine Cartwright, Sales Director for the Midlands, said: “Life in lockdown has made many of us reassess what we need from our home, so we want to make it as easy as possible for people in the Midlands to buy their dream home. We are delighted to offer expert advice at our events to show buyers just how easy the buying and selling processes can be.
“The Help to Buy scheme aims to make the process of buying a home as affordable as possible, while our Help to Sell initiative takes the stress out of selling your old house, leaving buyers to focus on packing and moving into their dream home. We’d encourage people in the Midlands and further afield to come along to our brand-new developments, take a tour of our showhomes, and receive tailored advice.”
