With the addition of this latest fund, our North West team has voluntarily gifted more than £165,000 to the neighbourhoods where we build. This is over and above the statutory investment from us, linked to planning consents, such as contributions to education, healthcare, public transport and affordable housing.
“We are launching this community fund in the run up to Christmas with the hope of announcing the successful applicants just before the new year starts. We want to hear from any community groups, charities, schools who have got projects they need help with in 2024,” said Caroline Thompson-Jones, area sales manager for Redrow NW.
Previous Redrow funding across the North West has helped schools, charities, youth groups, sports teams and individuals at the very heart of the community, providing a range of resources including play equipment, defibrillators, furniture, food parcels, counselling and more.
Caroline added: “Perhaps you’re a community group who has plans to offer new classes or you’re a charity who needs extra funding to support more families in the area. Our community funds are there to help you, so we would urge you to apply so you can start 2024 off in the best way possible.”
Our Hartford fund is linked to the Hartford development, made up of two phases – Weaver Park and Water’s Reach. Both developments boast all the benefits of quiet country living, while being perfectly placed to access amenities that nearby cities have to offer too.
Weaver Park has a range of homes, from three-bedroom semi-detached properties to larger, four-bedroom detached family homes. Water’s Reach currently has a selection of four-bedroom homes available for purchase.
