Promoted from sales director – a position he has held for the last five years and previously in the early 2000s – Jason now takes charge of a business that builds circa 700 new homes per annum across Cheshire and parts of North Wales, Merseyside and South Manchester.
“It’s a privilege to take on this role and I look forward to overseeing our continuing success in every area, including land acquisition, planning, construction, sales and customer care,” says Jason, 53, who with his family has lived in Redrow-built homes for the past 20 years.
“When it comes to quality, I am a huge believer that we build the best product and I can say this with hand on heart having lived in two different Redrow homes over the last 20 years. I’ve experienced life as a Redrow customer as well as an employee which gives me useful insight in my new role.”
He takes on the top job at our North West division during an exciting period, with a major new development just launched at King’s Moat Garden Village, in Chester; planning permission granted for a new £100m value scheme in Knutsford and plans advancing for the new Daresbury Garden Village alongside the divisional headquarters at Daresbury Park, near Warrington. Existing developments like the flagship Woodford Garden Village, near Stockport, are flourishing and show homes will open next month at Allerton Gardens, in Liverpool.
Jason started out in the housebuilding industry as an estimator before moving into sales as an advisor. He first joined Redrow in 1999 as a sales manager and undertook the company’s senior management training programme before gaining a promotion to the role of sales director for the North West. He left in 2004 and worked for two other major national homebuilders, before returning to Redrow in 2015.
Matthew Pratt, Redrow’s chief operating officer, said: “Jason was the natural successor for this role and we are delighted to announce his promotion. His record as sales director has been exemplary and he has proved himself to be an excellent team leader. Now he can bring those skills to a wider remit and ensure that Redrow’s North West business, one of our largest, continues to thrive.”
