The 10.43-acre site will be transformed into five apartment buildings, providing 37 one- and two-bedroom apartments and 54 houses, and forms part of the wider mixed-use area in Eastern Quarry where up to 6,250 homes will be built by a collection of housebuilders and developers.
This latest phase of homes follows from the initial 227 homes in Alkerden that will be built by ourselves. We recently launched its latest show homes at Stonehaven Park, part of the larger collective development known as Whitecliffe at Alkerden Village.
Once complete, Stonehaven Park will offer 575 homes, from one- and two-bedroom apartments to three- to four-bedroom townhouses, along with bespoke contemporary-designed detached houses, each supplied with ultrafast broadband as standard. Affordable housing will be part of the new development, with 25% of the homes built dedicated to this purpose.
This latest phase brings much-needed homes to Kent, appealing to buyers seeking a home in commutable distance to London, as well as those in need of affordable housing.
This forms part of our wider delivery of homes and amenities at Ebbsfleet Garden City. We hope this will serve as an exemplary case study of all that a single developer can achieve at one site, which for us, includes 575 high-quality homes, and 120 new jobs.
Within the community, local amenities will include commercial, retail, and sports facilities. Parents will be pleased to find plans for a new local school campus offering both primary and secondary education set on extensive grounds.
As well as close connections to open green space, Ebbsfleet Garden City offers fantastic transport links for commuters. London King’s Cross is approximately a 22-minute journey from Ebbsfleet International train station.
We look forward to starting work on site and launching homes for sale in due course.
