A talented football player, Ellie completed her A levels at St David’s College in Cardiff in June 2022 and she immediately knew that she wanted to join Mum Emma and sister Molly in the business. Emma first joined Redrow in 2003 and is now Customer Services Manager. Her eldest daughter Molly joined Redrow as an apprentice in 2021 and is now a Sales Consultant.
Mum Emma says that she is really proud to have both of her daughters working for Redrow. She said: “I’ve always loved my job so the girls have grown up knowing that Redrow is a great employer with lots of opportunity for progression. It’s been a real pleasure to see Molly develop over the last two years and I know that this has inspired Ellie to do the same. Both my husband and I are very proud of them and look forward to seeing their careers progress.”
Ellie said: “I know that I’m really lucky to be given the opportunity to join a business with such a great reputation. Mum and Dad have encouraged both Molly and I to have a strong work ethic and I’m keen to progress so I’m really looking forward to learning new skills and being part of the Redrow team.”
Over the course of its 40-year history, Redrow has incorporated apprentices as a key element of the workforce. With its head office based in Ewloe, more than 15% of Redrow’s employees are either apprentices, graduates, or trainees.
Sales Director Beverley Wookey said: “We’ve been building a proud reputation for beautiful high quality homes for over 40 years. Key to our success are the many talented people working in every department throughout our business who all share the same vision and values. We offer a great start to working life in the industry for young people and it’s particularly rewarding to know that Ellie has been inspired by her Mum and sister.”
