Aside from its great selection of shops, eateries and of course our homes, why not explore some of Thorpe Park’s 140 acres of green space?

Whether you like to venture into the great outdoors for walks or want to dust off the bikes with the children, there is plenty of choice when it comes to walking and cycling options near Thorpe Park, Leeds.

  1. Central Park

    Located between The Springs retail and leisure park and The Point and The Avenue, is the 30-acre Central Park. This provides a network of footpaths and cycle, jogging and bridle routes through and around the park, and out into the wider landscape via existing rights of way.

  2. Green Park

    Another major element of the wider Thorpe Park is a 113-acre public park that also has its own footpaths, cycle paths, informal areas of open space, woodland and new wetland areas.

  3. For those who want to explore further afield, the 11-mile John Smeaton cycle trail passes right through Thorpe Park. It heads East towards Pendas Fields then towards Austhorpe and out up to Parlington.
